Funds raised at the 2016 Classic and Supercar show, were distributed at our presentation event at Sherborne Castle on Friday 11th November.

A beautiful autumn day provided the background when our Presidents, sponsors, supporters, volunteers, beneficiaries and others who contributed to the success of the event, arrived at Sherborne Castle for our official cheque presentation.

Cancer Research UK, as our headline sponsor received a total of £21,300, making this their biggest fund raising event in the area.

Other local charities who shared the remaining £31,700 were:

• Yeovil Free Wheelers
• St Margaret’s Hospice
• Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance
• Sherborne Area Youth & Community Centre
• Sherborne Rendezvous
• Future Roots
• Motor Neurone Disease Association
• Wincanton Community Venture

These beneficiaries where chosen by show organisers, The Rotary Clubs of Sherborne Castles, Yeo Vale and Brue Valley, and the Yeovil Inner Wheel Club.
